Tiffany Horton

PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Horton is a former graduate of Newton High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Lamar University with an EC-4 certification. She later pursued her goal of becoming an LPC and graduated with a Master of Science in Professional Counseling. In 2016, she earned her EC-12 Principal Certification through Lamar University and her Superintendent Certification in 2024 . Mrs. Horton has served in multiple positions in her 19 years of educational experience. She has been a teacher, Instructional Coach, Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Principal and now Principal. She loves spending time with her husband, kids, and grandbabies.

Christa Lacey

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Lacey graduated from West Sabine High School in Pineland, TX. Her education continued at Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies Degree and later a Master's Degree in Education. Mrs. Lacey received her superintendent certification in 2023 and is continuing her education. She has served as a teacher, principal, and assistant principal. She loves reading and sports

GOALS: My goals are to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where every child builds a strong foundation in literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and a love for learning. I also aim to ensure that our youngest learners receive high-quality instruction, intentional support, and a safe, welcoming school experience that fosters confidence, curiosity, and readiness for the years ahead.
