Tiffany Horton

Principal, Laura Reeves Primary

Mrs. Horton is a former graduate of Newton High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Lamar University with an EC-4 certification. She later pursued her goal of becoming an LPC and graduated with a Master of Science in Professional Counseling. In 2016, she earned her EC-12 Principal Certification through Lamar University and her Superintendent Certification in 2024 . Mrs. Horton has served in multiple positions in her 19 years of educational experience. She has been a teacher, Instructional Coach, Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Principal and now Principal. She loves spending time with her husband, kids, and grandbabies.

Goal: “As Principal, my primary goal is to ensure every student receives high- quality instruction that is fun and engaging while maintaining a safe and positive environment.”

Jennifer Fisher

Assistant Principal, Laura Reeves Primary

Mrs. Fisher is a 2008 graduate of Silsbee High School. In 2012, she received her Bachelors in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University. She earned her Masters in Education Technology Leadership in 2017 from Lamar University. Mrs. Fisher has taught U.S. History, World History and Physical Education. She is a former coach of softball, volleyball track and girls powerlifting. Mrs. Fisher lives in Silsbee with her husband, Kenny, and three boys.

Goals: "My goal is to make a stronger connection with the community. I plan to do this through parent involvement, events and increasing modalities of communication throughout the campus. Building those relationships that create a sense of community and boosting morale are vital to creating the campus culture that fosters an inviting environment where students feel loved and are eager to learn."
